Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and The Natural Curriculum ("we", "us"), which operates this site, the Nine Natures quiz, and The Natural Learning Handbook. You can reach us at hello@thenaturalcurriculum.com.

By using the site, taking the quiz, creating an account, or buying The Natural Learning Handbook, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

You confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement, and that if you are accepting on behalf of an organisation you have authority to bind it.

We provide an interest-led homeschool framework: a free Natures quiz, child profiles, activity suggestions, weekly plans, and a paid digital handbook. Everything we publish is educational guidance for parents and carers. It is not professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and it is not a diagnostic assessment of any child.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, or for fraud, spam, or harassment;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
• resell, redistribute, or publicly share the handbook or other paid materials;
• reverse engineer any part of the service.

We own the service and its content, including the Natures framework, the handbook, the templates, the software, and the branding. On purchase we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the handbook and templates for your own household, including printing copies for the children in your care.

You keep ownership of the content you add — child names, notes, and plans. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to run the service for you.

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our refund policy for how long you have to change your mind.

We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. On termination you may export your child profiles and notes for 30 days before deletion.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where The Natural Curriculum is established, and disputes will be heard by the courts there.
